Alfred Mansour - PhD, LP, CBIS

Dr. Alfred Mansour’s career spans four decades of research and clinical service and includes his early years at the Mental Health Research Institute at The University of Michigan. He has been a member of the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology, the New York Academy of Sciences, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Society for Neuroscience, American Psychological Association, and Sigma Xi, a national research honor society. Dr. Mansour has served on numerous scientific committees including the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology and the National Institute of Drug Abuse’s Neuroanatomy and Neurophysiology Review Subcommittee.

He is broadly published including publications in the distinguished journals Trends in Neuroscience, the Journal of Neuroscience, Brain Research, the Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics, and The Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. His latest contributions include a review of the traumatic brain injury literature and a call for the integrative and multi-disciplinary approach to the treatment of traumatic brain injury (2015), as well as, a functional brain imaging study in children and adults with dyslexia and the differential activation of working memory pathways (2014).

In addition, he has published over 20 chapters in scientific/medical texts on the neurorehabilitation of memory, opioid receptor anatomy and molecular biology, cell biology and pharmacology of the dopamine and serotonin systems, and dopamine receptor expression in the CNS. Dr. Mansour received his Bachelor’s degree cum laude from Yeshiva University, a Doctorate in Biological Psychology with high honors from The University of Michigan, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Michigan University.

He shares two prestigious awards: the A.E. Bennett Award (1991) from the Society of Biological Psychiatry for his contributions to the field of psychiatry and schizophrenia, and the Discovery Award (1994) for his work in elucidating the molecular biology of endogenous opiate receptor systems in the central nervous system. Dr. Mansour’s clinical interests include the biological basis of psychiatric disorders, clinical neuropsychology, and the assessment and treatment of traumatic brain injuries, dementia, memory disorders, and other neurological disorders. Clinical positions include the John D. Dingell Veteran Administration Medical Center, Origami Brain Injury Center, PAR Rehabilitation, and St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Ann Arbor.

Robert J. Fabiano - PhD, LP, ABPP

Dr. Robert Fabiano is a founding partner of Neuropsychology Partners and functions as Executive Director of PAR Rehabilitation. He is a licensed psychologist who conducts psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for clients with a variety of cognitive, psychiatric, and neurobehavioral disorders.

Dr. Fabiano serves as a consulting neuropsychologist with Sparrow Hospital and Ingham Medical Center and has been an Adjunct Professor with Michigan State University since 1991.

He has published numerous scientific articles in areas of neuropsychology and traumatic brain injury as well as lectured extensively in areas of neurorehabilitation, neuropsychology, and vocational assessment.

Julie D. Simensky - PhD, LP

Julie D. Simensky, Ph.D. completed her graduate training in clinical psychology from Michigan State University, with focus in the area of neuropsychology. 

She previously worked for Ohio State University Medical Center in inpatient and outpatient brain injury rehabilitation and for OhioHealth Hospitals as a neuropsychologist and as a member of the epilepsy surgery treatment team.

She provides neuropsychological and psychological assessments for adolescents and adults.  Her clinical interests include traumatic brain injury, epilepsy, dementia, and ADHD.

Paige Wilson, PhD, LP, ABPdN

Dr. Paige Wilson is a Board-Certified Pediatric Neuropsychologist. She provides neuropsychological, psycho-educational, and autism evaluations. She specializes in the impact of early trauma on brain development for children and adolescents. Her practice spans evaluating youth with cognitive difficulties secondary to a variety of medical conditions including prenatal exposure to alcohol and drug use, premature birth, birth complications, genetic and chromosomal disorders, seizure disorders, and significant cancer diagnoses. She is an assessment specialist for children with developmental delays, learning disabilities, and ADHD. She is dedicated to the field of neuropsychology through teaching, mentoring, training, and advocacy. Dr. Wilson completed her training at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Minnesota’s Medical Center.

A California transplant and mother, she enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering, and swimming.

Eugene Sakirkin, MS, LLP

Eugene is a limited licensed psychologist who has been with Neuropsychology Partners since its inception in 2018. He earned his Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Michigan University. Eugene conducts supervised psychological evaluations for children and adults in addition to providing therapy services. He has 10 years of psychometry experience working with a diverse clinical population. Eugene has clinical experience diagnosing and treating individuals with anxiety, depression, attentional, learning, and mood/personality concerns. In his free time, he enjoys being active playing sports, exercising, and hiking. 

Brooke VanBuren-Hay, PhD, JD

Dr. VanBuren-Hay completed her graduate training in Counseling Psychology at Michigan State University. She has worked for DeVos Children’s Hospital and CEI Community Mental Health. Dr. VanBuren-Hay has lectured extensively on a wide variety of topics including: mood disorder, traumatic brain injury, and neuropsychological evaluations. She has also obtained her Juris Doctorate from Cooley Law School. Currently, she provides psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. In addition, Dr. VanBuren-Hay is a consultant to Sparrow Hospital and assists in providing neuropsychological consultation.
